Moving from the deep forests of Appalachia, to the high desert of New Mexico in 2018, I began exploring the new and unfamiliar landscape of the desert.
Many of these drawings come from a roundtrip taken during the summer or 2020 and a tour around the four corners region. It was on this trip that I grew a deep admiration for the light, shadow and color of the desert.
