The resiliency and strength of wildflowers continues to astound me.

Working in lithography and reduction linoleum printmaking, I translate my botanical drawings onto new matrices that can be printed in the multiple. Lithography preserves my drawing style and mark making and relates most closely to my original drawings. On the other hand, reduction linoleum challenges me to translate my drawings into their graphic counterpart. In these prints the characteristics of the carved mark of the chisel brings new feeling to these works. Working with various papers ink colors I explore how these can change the feeling of my imagery.
